German worldwide Sven Bender became a member of his twin brother Lars at Bayer Leverkusen on Thursday, after moving from Borussia Dortmund on the four-year contract.

German media reported that Leverkusen compensated around €15m for that 28-year-old, who began just three Bundesliga games last season and hasn’t performed a complete worldwide since 2013.

The siblings were named joint players from the tournament in the under-19 European Championship in 2008 and Lars has additionally performed for that senior national side.
