Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan will apparently resume his career within the Turkish national team, media reported Tuesday.
In June, Turan announced his retirement in the national team after being sacked in the Turkish national football team squad by manager Fatih Terim upon verbally and physically assaulting a Turkish sports journalist on the plane which was transporting the nation’s team from Macedonia’s Skopje to Italy’s Trieste.
Terim left the nation’s team late This summer because of “non-football issues” all around the coach.
Turkey’s recently hired coach Mircea Lucescu apparently met with Turan late Monday in The country after Barcelona’s friendly complement Brazilian club Chapecoense. Based on media reports, Lucescu and Turan were built with a conversation throughout a private dinner, which continued inside a positive atmosphere.
Throughout the meeting Turan supposedly were not impressed with the negative atmosphere inside the team, that Lucescu responded by acknowledging the issue and promising to try and solve it. Lucescu also told the Barcelona player he needed him and the man may be the captain.
“You have to forget what went down before. I’ll bring respect and love to this team. I’ll unite this team again. You’re the captain and ther is you don’t need to say just how much I want you,” . Lucescu apparently stated to Turan.
Following the dinner Turan was apparently convinced to go back to the nation’s team.
Lucescu also met Turkish players Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Emre Mor, who play abroad.
In Milan, the Romanian coach visited Çalhanoğlu and apparently stated to him, “You are among the most significant players within the national team. I know of the importance and quality. If only you success in Milan.”
Çalhanoğlu shared a photograph with Lucescu on his social networking account and authored “Thanks Lucescu.”
Lucescu met Mor, who lately signed with Inter Milan, and also the Romanian is anticipated to satisfy along with other Turkish stars who play in European leagues for example Cengiz Ünder, Yunus Mallı, Nuri Şahin, Kaan Ayhan, Ömer Toprak, Çağlar Söyüncü, Emre Çolak and Enes Unal.
